Reports

How to generate and download reports of your transactions and balances on Ledger Enterprise.

Role: Operators and Administrators. You can report on the Accounts you have access to.

Reports export your activity as a .CSV file you can download. Use them for reconciliation, accounting, and audit.

Generate a report

  1. Open Reports and select Generate report.

  2. Select the report type.

  3. For a Transactions or Balances report, select the Accounts to include.

  4. Select the date range.

  5. Apply any filters you need.

  6. Select Generate report.

The report appears in the reports list at once, with the status In progress. It is prepared in the background, so you do not have to wait on the page. The list does not refresh by itself. Reload the page to see when the report is Ready.

Note: A report is not a governed Request. It needs no approval, and it does not use your device. A Transactions or Balances report includes only Accounts you have access to.

Report types

Type
Contains

Transactions

Money movements in and out of the selected Accounts

Balances

What the selected Accounts held over the period

Requests

Requests reports are under development.

Accounts

Transactions and Balances reports take a set of Accounts:

  • All accounts includes all the Accounts you have access to.

  • Select accounts includes every Account that matches your search and filters. Search by Account name or ID, and use the Account filters to narrow the set.

You cannot add or remove Accounts one by one. The form lists the matching Accounts and shows their count, for example "3 accounts included".

Note: All accounts means all the Accounts you can see. Two people can generate the same report and get different results, because their access differs. For an audit, say which Account set the report covers.

Date range

Select a preset: Last week, Last month or Last 6 months. Or set a custom start date and end date.

The end date cannot be earlier than the start date. Both are required for a custom range.

Filters

Transactions reports can be narrowed by type and by status. Leave a filter empty to include everything.

The Type filter has four options. Each option selects operations on these networks only:

Option
Networks

Send

Bitcoin, Canton, Ethereum and EVM networks, Hedera, Sui, Tezos

Receive

Bitcoin, Canton, Ethereum and EVM networks, Hedera, Sui

Stake

Hedera, Sui, Tezos

Unstake

Hedera, Sui, Tezos

Important: Stake and Unstake do not select Ethereum staking operations. Send and Receive do not select Ripple, Stellar or Tron operations. Receive does not select Tezos operations. No option selects contract operations.

The Status filter has four options: Confirmed (SUCCESSFUL), Failed (FAILED), Confirming (PENDING) and Unknown (UNKNOWN).

Find and download a report

Administrators see every report generated in the Workspace. Operators see only the reports they generated. The Author filter shows for Administrators only.

The reports list has these columns:

Column
Shows

Id

The report's identifier

Date

When it was generated

Type

Transactions, Balances, or Requests

Parameters

The date range. For Transactions and Balances, also the number of Accounts, or All accounts

Author

Who generated it

Status

In progress (INITIAL, SCHEDULED), Ready (COMPLETED), Error (FAILED), or Expired (PURGED)

Actions

Download, Generate again, and the row menu

Download a Ready report from its row. Reports download as a CSV file.

The Parameters column does not show the type and status filters, or the names of the Accounts. Use as template, in the row menu of a Ready report, opens the form with that report's settings. A Balances template keeps the type and the dates, but not the Accounts.

Delete a report

You can delete a report. It then disappears from the list.

Reports expire

A report does not stay available forever. By default, a report expires 90 days after it is generated. Its status then changes to Expired, its file is deleted, and you can no longer download it.

The report's configuration survives. Select Generate again on the row to generate the report again with the same parameters.

Important: A report expires. Its file is then deleted and only its configuration remains, reusable with Generate again. The reports list is not an archive.

If a report fails

A report with the status Error did not complete. Select Generate again on its row. To copy the error, select Copy error report in the row menu.

If it fails repeatedly, narrow it: use a shorter date range, or fewer Accounts. If it still fails, contact support and quote the report's date and parameters.
