Custodian Settlement Request Approval

  1. To approve a Settlement request in a Ledger Enterprise workspace, the Custodian operator can navigate to the “Requests” section of their workspace and approve any pending requests.

  2. For a Custodian API operator to approve the request, the standard approval request method described herearrow-up-right will be used.

  3. The Custodian will also be able to reject these requests if they deem them not appropriate.

Custodian Withdrawal Request Approval

Custodian Arbitration Request Creation

Custodians who are mediating an arbitration between an Exchange and an Asset Manager will have the power to create a transaction request that moves funds from the available balance of the Collateral account, to the relevant Whitelisted Exchange account. This request will also require approval.

Custodian Forced Unpledge

As a custodian operator, you can create a forced un-pledge request to unlock stranded assets for your asset managers.

  1. Forced un-pledge request: If an exchange does not respond to an un-pledge request, you can create a forced un-pledge request via the UI or API. You will find the button for this request in the “Pledges” section of the account view page.

  2. Request Creation: The existing pledge-decrement request is cancelled, and a new request is created. This request does not require exchange approval.

  3. Approval Quorum: The request requires a creation quorum of 2 custodian operators.

  4. Settlement Cancellation: Any settlement in progress with the relevant exchange is cancelled, and the state of the settlement changes to Rejected.

  5. Full Amount: The request is for the entire amount of the pledged assets and does not require asset manager approval.
